Dr. Stephen Shiao

s a clinician-scientist in the department of Radiation Oncology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Shiao is an expert on the effects of radiation on host tissues and the immune system’s response to radiation and tissue injury. He has pioneered the development of approaches to modeling focal radiation effects in mice and also testing immunotherapy and RT combinations in early phase trials. Dr. Shiao will serve as a Project Lead in the Molecular Characterization Trial and Co-Investigator for the Project 2, will oversee the conduct of the trial proposed in this grant, lead the research team including supervision of the clinical, scientific and support staff, oversee data collection and management.
